I was excited about a recent trip to St Agnes Head – an area of heathland overlooking the sea on the edge of St Agnes village, Cornwall. The area had recently been given a dark sky status, the Milky Way visible with the naked eye. I wanted to capture some images of it. The weather forecast showed clear skies and with a new moon it should have been ideal but on arrival the area was shrouded in a thick drifting fog . I did capture these few moody images before retreating back home to the warm and dry. I will try again soon, weather permitting.
